How do I setup my BTI email account?
To create a BTI email account, you must call the office at 715.684.3346.

I have forgotten my BTI Email Password. What should I do?
You may call BTI at 715.684.3346 and have your password reset or you may change it by clicking here.

I am not able to connect to the Internet
  • 1. Turn off your computer, power cycle your modem by unplugging it and plugging it back into the power source. Wait for all the lights to be working working on your modem.
  • 2. If using a wireless router, power cycle the router at this time and wait for all the lights to be working.
  • 3. Turn your computer on.
  • 4. Check connectivity by opening a web browser.
  • If you are still not connecting to the Internet, please call our Internet Help Desk at 1.800.680.2641.

After a storm and power loss, if you are unable to connect to the Internet, please reboot your equipment.
If your modem does not display any lights, or the online light is on, yet you are not able to connect, please understand that there may be surge damage which will result in needing new equipment.
Wireless Router Troubleshooting
If you are having problems connecting using your wireless router or if you are trying to adjust any security settings, please refer to the manufacturer's website. BTI does not offer technical support for wireless routers. Many variables can be involved in troubleshooting a wireless router and it is impossible for BTI to know all of the factors involved.

Before Contacting the Internet Help Desk, please have the following information:

  • * Know what brand and model of computer you have, Windows or Mac
